Sorisha Naidoo, a cast member of The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) Season 4, recently shared her candid thoughts on the dramatic reunion. In part two of the RHOD reunion, Sorisha walked out in tears, leaving her place on the show uncertain.
During Season 4, tensions escalated among the ladies, leading to heated discussions during the reunion. The group laid all their issues on the table, attempting to address why they couldn’t move forward as a cohesive unit.
One recurring topic was the existence of a “puppet master” within the group. When asked directly by MaBlerh, the ladies pointed fingers. Jojo and Maria both named Sorisha, while Sorisha and Angel accused Jojo.
Sorisha expressed her disappointment at the lack of apologies. “I feel very disheartened that nobody felt the need to apologize to me,” she revealed. By the time the apologies were attempted during the reunion, Sorisha had mentally checked out. Her emotional state was raw, and watching the final episode intensified her feelings.
Since leaving the reunion, Sorisha has found solace. “Now I am in a good place, surrounded by love and positive energy,” she shared. The chaos of the reunion no longer consumes her thoughts. Her initial hope was to clarify issues and find common ground, but the ladies’ entrenched mindsets prevented any resolution.
Season 4 provided Sorisha with valuable lessons. Reflecting on the show, she discovered aspects of herself—learning to trust her instincts and avoid being a people pleaser. If there’s a major shake-up and the show becomes more aspirational, Sorisha would consider returning for Season 5.
