Somizi goalkeeping skills impress Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune
South African media personality Somizi Mhlongo may need a career change to join Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs after impressing Itumeleng Khune with his “goalkeeping” skills.
Considered a jack and master of all trades, Somizi fans tipped the Idols SA judge to try his luck in the Kaizer Chiefs team after they narrowly missed on the PSL league cup to Mamelodi Sundowns on the final day.
Somizi uploaded a visibly photoshopped image of himself in goal for the Bafana Bafana national team captioned “BREAKING NEWS: Somizi replaces Khune.” The image impressed the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper but vows to bench Somizi till he retires.
Khune responded “great save from Somizi 👌👌 but I’m going to bench him till he decides to retire”

Conversations on Khune’s ability to continue performing on the top level have been brought up recently after he spends the greater part of the PSL season 2019/2020 on the sidelines. Is it the right moment to replace him with Somizi? Soccer fans believe Somizi will concede 10 goal each and every game.
