Somizi pledges to donate a coffin for murdered 16 year old Andile Bobo Mchunu. Bobo was murdered at Magagula Lodge in Tongaat, KwaZulu Natal. The grade 12 pupil Andile Mchunu disappeared on the 28 of April and his body was found dumped in Newton River in Tongaat.
Andile Mchunu was allegedly beaten to death for stealing beer and money from the owner of Magagula lodge. In a video which shocked South Africa, Bobo was beaten to death in a pool of blood, this prompted a #justiceforBobo movement. The boy who appeared to have filmed the video Luyanda Mshana is believed to have confessed about Bobo’s murder to his parents who reported the matter to the police. The Magagula lodge where Bobo was murdered faced the wrath of the community as it was burned to ashes.
Bobo’s body was later found and retrieved from Newton River, decomposed remnants were send to laboratory for testing.

Meanwhile South African television presenter and media personality Somizi Mhlongo joins the #justiceforBobo and pledges to by Bobo’s coffin. Somizi urged South Africans to help Bobo’s family with any help material or money to give Andile Bobo Mchunu a deserved sent off.
Somizi reveals that he spoke to Andile Mchunu’s mother.
Just spoke to Bobo’s mom…..she is waiting for the results from the lab to say for sure that the burnt and mutilated body is her son then they can decide when the burial will be….in the meantime pls assist with whatever amount
