Somizi and Mohale reunite, move to recover money swindled from their wedding
Somizi Mhlongo and his estranged husband have put their beef aside and have decided to work things out for a moment. The two had a nasty fallout, which was the Mohale heist. They have agreed to settle their beef and join forces in suing a celebrated television producer for a whopping R1.5 million for the broadcasting rights to their colourful wedding.
They had a two-legged wedding in Johanessburg. The two tied the knot back then in 2020 in what was dupped as the wedding of the century. However, their fallout came from daring allegations levelled against Somizi by Mohale.
The bubbly on-air personality has it that he was threatened and almost killed by Somizi. However, in the mix of things, Somizi countered the charges by filing for divorce at the Joburg High Court last year.

Before their billed wedding, the two sold broadcasting rights to Bar Leader Tv. The broadcasting house also happens to be the producers of The Dream With Somizi, which was aired on Mzansi Magic. The company, which multi-millionaire Legend Manqele owns, has failed to pay the estranged couple two years later. Their wedding was streamed on DStv’s streaming platform Showmax.
It has been reported that Mohale lawyers are the one who threatened to file a lawsuit against the business mogul who has failed to pay them in time. Unconfirmed reports have it that Bar Leader TV was told to pay the money not later than Thursday or face a lawsuit.
It has been established that the two complaints agreed that the money should be paid to a trust fund account and be withdrawn after the dust has settled in their divorce case. Contacted for comment, Mohale revealed that it was not true. Manqele did confirm the matter beforehand. The celebrated business mogul cleared the air when he revealed that he was given an instruction by the SARS not to pay Somizi.
