Some of the iconic and underwhelming outfits from the event of Muvhango celebrating their 25th anniversary.
Muvhango celebrated its 25th anniversary, and the official ceremony had a lot of stars attending. Some stars looked terrific, and some were dressed rather too plain. Outfit wise, it was either the stars looked tremendous or too simple. After so many years of the show on our screens, one would expect the actors to put in some more effort. In this article, we share the event’s best and most underwhelming looks.
Attendees and emcees
Media personalities from different shows attended the event. Not the entire cast showed up to celebrate the big moment. Some of the former Muvhango cast members attended to support their former workplace. In the future, they might return; who knows. Emcees of the event were Dingaan Khumalo who plays James on the soapie. Gabriel Temudzani who plays Chief Azwindini and Inno Manchidi who plays Rendani.
The best dressed of the lot
Regina Nesengani plays the role of Mkondeleli. She came through rocking a cream white dress and a dusty pink knee-length blazer. Her outfit was classy, elegant and age-appropriate. One thing she never disappoints with is the hair. Her hair has been stylish and sleek forever. At the event, she cut it and styled it short.
Liteboho Molise played the role of Tebogo Mukwevho on the soapie. She wore a black one-sleeve dress with white polka dots. Her dress matched the event, and it wasn’t too much of anything.
With all the differences in the best-dressed list, we can see that with fashion, individuality is everything. Candy Magidimisa who plays Shaz on the soapie was wearing a silver and white satin outfit. She sparked without tiring the eye.
Underwhelming outfits at Muvhango celebrations
Gabriel Temudzani was wearing formal shoes, jeans, a shirt and a blazer. His outfit was okay, but it wasn’t appropriate for this big event. They were especially seeing that he was one of the emcees.
Nat Ramabulana who plays Tenda on Muvhango was wearing a pair of jeans and a yellow golf t-shirt.
Muvhango has been playing on our screens for a full 25 years now. We’ve seen the various storylines entertaining the viewers and leaving them begging for more. Muvhango is also the longest standing TsiVenda television production in South Africa. We’ve laughed and cried with the show, and we’re still keen on seeing more episodes.
