Twitter users have further analysed the CCTV footage from the AKA shooting and identified the primary suspect as Don Design. The individual, a close friend of AKA, is currently trending on Twitter as some users have accused him of being involved in the rapper’s murder.
AKA was killed in an “execution style” shooting on Friday, February 10th, at Wish restaurant in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal. The incident was captured on CCTV footage and widely circulated on social media.
The video shows AKA leaving the restaurant while appearing to say goodbye to his friends, including Tebello Tibz Motsoane, who also lost his life in the shooting. Before an unknown assailant approaches, AKA and shoots him in the back of the head, the rapper and Tibz can be seen embracing. AKA then falls to the ground, bleeding profusely.
