Cupid shoots a disastrous arrow into Jacobeth’s life. The arrival of Ntate Kganyago in Thobakgale’s life leads her to make some unusual decisions that turn her whole life at home and work upside down.
Kganyago has managed to identify Jacobeth’s weakness, and he uses it to take advantage of and manipulate her.
Jacobeth finds herself always doing damage control while trying to save her fragile relationship with Kganyago, always making her feel uncertain about their future.
Kganyago propels Ma’am Thobakgale to ask him to move into her house, making Elizabeth very uncomfortable. Jacobeth drops the L word on Kganyago, and he manipulates her so much she ends up throwing Elizabeth out of the house and planning to take out her retirement from Turf high.
Kganyago is after Jacobeth’s pension money.
Khwezi is out; Pretty is in
The chess game is still between Lehasa and his women. Pretty decided to exit the love nest after Lehasa’s shocking Lobola to Khwezi; since then, Khwezi has been trying to get back into Lehasa’s bed without success.
Lehasa is facing possible incarceration, and even though Pretty decided to exit the relationship, she still loves him, so she declares her love for him in a text message, which pushes him to make a phone call to her.
The love triangle resumes when Pretty finds her way back into the love nest, and the love triangle continues. Khwezi visits a rival of Lehasa’s in Turf; by the middle of the month, she is out, and PreHasa is back. Only time will tell if things will work out this time.
The grade 8 learners have been allowed to showcase their skills as writers. Everyone works hard, especially Mosebjadi, but Paxton emerges the winner; this shocks everyone.
Pax gives away something that shocks Mosebjadi in his radio interview with Berry FM. She realises that Paxton won because he is rich and lost because she is poor. Marothi runs the literacy program, and he is a shady businessman. At the moment, Zamokuhle is the one who is leading the writing competition. Still, in November, he threatened to resign because of unpleasant information he found out about Marothi.
Marothi tries to bribe him, but it doesn’t work, and then he resorts to threatening him.
