Sjava leaves Ambitiouz: South African rapper and actor Sjava has parted ways with record label Ambitiouz records.
The rapper says he will remain grateful to the entertainment company as it afforded him an opportunity that one one was willing to. The Umama hitmaker confirmed the rumours that have been circulating on social that he was looking at his was out of the record label but he chose to remain silent and professional. Ambitiouz Records owner and boss Kgosi Mahumapelo earlier in the week dismissed the rumours and stated Sjava has a long running contract with the records label. He affirmed Sjava was not splitting from Ambitiouz.
Sjava says he is willing to amicably finanlise his departure from the label that improved his music career and promised to keep making good music even after he leaves Ambitiouz.
He published the following statement:
I would like to take this opportunity nginazise ukuthi me and Ambitiouz have parted ways.I will forever be grateful for everything that they have done by giving me an opportunity and platform when no one did nanokuthi through them ngikwazile nokwakhela umama umuzi ekhaya. I will forever be grateful to the Label for leyo opportunity and I also respect all the artists signed to the label and also ex members and producers. We made great music together Anginankinga namuntu. Angiyena umuntu wama beef nokuktiuluma ziyangihlula lezo zinto hence i always choose to keep quiet. Abaningi bebezibuza ukuthi ngishonephi njengoba bengithe ukuhoxisa kancane ezinkundleni zokuxhumana ingoba i wanted to deal with the whole process ngenhlonipho and dignity as i learned ukuthi being professional and not taking things personal kubalulekile in the business ngoba engingakusho namhlanje ngoba ngihluthekelwe yinhliziyo kungangigaxelisa ekuhambeni kweskhathi. Ngifundile ukuthi ukungaboni ngaso linye business•wise nenkampani akusho ukuthi kuxatshenwe personally. The reason for parting ways iyaziwa yimina and the label for now and I hope that this process of parting will be done in a way that reflects mutual respect. That is my hope.
