The South African entertainment industry has lost another talent, Sipho Ngema on Tuesday night at a hospital in Johannesburg.
Sipho Ngema popularly known for his role on Uzalo as Terror as well as his role Raymond on Rhythm City is reported to have succumbed from pulmonary hypertension, which caused his heart to fail. Terror also played a drug boss in the Mzansi Magic series Stash in 2013 and more recently was on e.tv’s Isipho.
Terror passed away on Tuesday night at 10.15 PM
The fierce and competitive actor often played hardcore criminal characters that viewers enjoyed watching and feared simultaneously and at times he left the audience in laughter.
Sipho Ngema a soft father and family man
Despite Sipho Ngema (Terror)’s tough film characters, his daughter described him as “soft” and always made sure that the family knows he loved them.
“I will definitely miss his voice and love for music. To the world he seemed hardcore and strict, but he was a genuine softie to his six children,” said his child Mbali.
Despite his tough-guy roles, Mbali said she will always remember her father as a “genuine softie” who always made sure she knew he loved her.
