Ntshangase was born in Pongola, South Africa on the 11th of may in 1993. He was born into a family of six children, and he has a twin brother. Nsthangase was always an avid soccer player, even at a young age, and this led him to pursue football as a career.

CAREER
Ntshangase has had a rather tumultuous career. As a young player, he was on trial with Lamontville, Golden Arrows, Thanda Royal Zulu and Mamelodi Sundowns but was rejected by all three clubs. He played for the Brazil Academy in KwaNdengezi. In 2013 he joined the Black Leopards with a debut in the National First Division on 25 January 2014. During his time with the league he scored a total of 11 goals spread over 3 seasons.
In August 2017, he signed onto Baroka on a two-year contract for the South African Premier Division. He premiered on the same day he signed his contract, 22 August as a half-time substitute. Ntshangase did not stay with them long. In early January 2018, he signed for the Johannesburg-based South African Premier Division side Kaizer Chiefs on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

He made his debut on 13 January 2018 as a second-half substitute. In the 2017-2018 he made a total of 8 appearances. During the 2018-2019 season he failed to hold down a first-team place, with just 14 appearances. He did not make any appearances in the first half of 2020.
Ntshangase has been criticized for his lack of defensive contributions to the team. Some fans have even pointed out that the player is failing to adapt to the team’s style; however, he has received praise for his passing ability. This has led to controversy surrounding his new one year contract that extended his stay with the Chiefs.

International Career
Ntshangase first played for South Africa at under 23 levels. His first appearance for the national team was in March of 2015. He was called in as a substitute on 25 March 2015 in a match against Swaziland. The other three appearances followed this 2015, where in one of them, he scored 2 goals against Mauritius. After this, he appeared twice in 2017.
