Well, Real Housewives of Durban is coming back for a second season. The popular reality show’s second season, which had everyone talking during the first, will premiere on Netflix early next year. A statement from Showmax confirmed this to the media.
“The leading African streaming service has also renewed The Real Housewives of Durban for season two after the show broke Showmax records earlier this year. Following its success in 50 countries across Africa, The Real Housewives of Durban season one has also launched in numerous international territories,” the statement read.

This was because the late Sifiso Ncwane ex-wife was also introduced to the show. Did the showrunners did it intentionally or it was something they didn’t anticipate.
It has been confirmed that Businesswoman and Real Housewives of Durban star Ayanda Ncwane has quit the show and will not participate in the much-anticipated second season.
However, it was established that Ncwane, the widow of multi-award winning gospel sensation Sifiso Ncwane, has decided to walk away from the show because it was damaging her brand and her late hubby’s legacy.
Rumour has it that her decision was mainly based on her cooperate image. Word of the street has it that she has lost several endorsements because of her character on the show.
