Thembi Seete and Stella Dlangalala’s acting roles in Gomora
Stella Dlangalala joined the telenovela Gomora during its 3rd season as Tiny baby mama to the gangster Qhoqhoqho. Tiny is a boss lady and an established entrepreneur; she owns a shisanyama. Tiny returned ten years after her divorce to rebuild her business which was recently looted when Bongani was the manager. As a strict boss lady, she fired Bongani and introduced a new leadership team.
She is a control freak, yet she is soft; after the death of Qhoqhoqho, she gives accommodation to the homeless Sizwe.
Thembi Seete plays the character of Gladys, ex-wife to Melusi and mother to Ntonkozo. She works at Gomora High school as a social worker who helps troubled students with counselling and financial help. She is the most generous woman in Gomora, and everyone in her community loves her. Although she has a good heart, Gladys was a lonely woman who craves love and affection from his ex-husband, but her dreams never come true, leading to their divorce. After her divorce from an unloving and cheating Melusi, Gladys found love in the arms of the new Gomora High principal Mr Cele.
Gladys and Tiny are characters we love to hate and have a charming way of keeping Mzansi glued to their screens.
