Shocker: Somizi Mhlongo engaged to multi-millionaire Pholoso Mohlala who happens to be Lasizwe’s ex
Somizi Mhlongo has been trending of late after it was revealed that he is engaged to Pholoso Mohlala. However, the celebrated media personality is trending after being revealed that he is off the market. Somizi seems to have moved on after his marriage with Mohale Motaung ended in tears. However, it came as a shocker since nobody saw it coming.
In 2020, the celebrated media personality tied the knot with Mohale in a two-legged wedding streamed on DStv’s streaming platform Showmax.
However, one year down the line, the marriage turned south after Mohale laid abuse charges against Somizi. The on-air media personality has it that Somizi almost threatened to be killed with a kitchen knife and broke his rids in a gender-based incident.
The daring allegations saw Somizi being cancelled and even lost several gigs and endorsement deals. To counter the allegation, Somizi has since filed for divorce with Mohale.

Confirmed reports have it that the two are engaged and awaiting the divorce procedures so that they can tie the knot. Mohlala is said to be a business mogul interested in the alcohol business. Yes, he doubles as the founder of 012 gin SA.
He is said to be a millionaire in his own right and has an estimated net worth of more than R70 million. Judging from his social media accounts, he is flashy and is not shy since he has the money to show.
He owns several exotic cars and seems to be a favourite BMW fanatic. Rumour mill has it that he has a million rand fleet that is made of top-notch limited editions of BMW, including the luxurious M2. Rumour mill has it that the bubbly business mogul once dated Lasizwe Dambuza.
