Shock as Western Cape pastor rapes five little girls
A 62 year old pastor has been was arrested by police for sexually assaulting up to five little girls in his church.
Pastor Christian Meyer ran out of luck after the little girls told their parents that he cage them sweets and oranges to keep quiet about the incidents.
The police took Meyer from his home in Fisantekraal on Wednesday and he slept in the cells for two nights before making a court appearance on Friday.
Parents of the victims and other community members gathered and protested outside Bellville Magistrates’ Court, and went in to hand a petition to the court urging it to deny bail for the accused.
Meyer was denied freedom and his matter is set to be heard on the 29th of September where he is expected to apply for bail.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana confirmed: “A case of sexual assault was opened for investigation after five girls aged between eight and ten were allegedly sexual assaulted.
The police confirmed that a 62 year old church leader was arrested on 16 September for sexual assault and possibly rape.
One of the mothers of the victim, a 29 year old Fisantekraal resident narrated her ordeal to Daily Voice.
“We found out that he’s been abusing them for months now. The children told us that he would buy them sweets and oranges to lure them to his house, he uses his house for his church.
“These children are looking for love and attention, but not the kind of love he is offering.”
The parents immediately went to the police after they heard about the abuse by their children.

“He was arrested on Wednesday in Yolanda du Preez Straat in Fisantekraal.
“The children were all taken to Karl Bremer Hospital and doctors confirmed they were sexually assaulted.
“He touched all the children, the youngest is eight and the oldest is 10.,” she said.
