Zinzi Zungu is a well-known actress in South Africa’s entertainment industry as she has been in it for years. Recently the actress landed a role as part of the cast of the Mzansi Magic drama series Umbuso. Although she met her untimely death in the first episode, the start continues to show her talent on the show.
When Umbuso premiered, we were introduced to Mpho, the rich and dutiful wife to MaE with two children. On Mpho’s birthday, she saw her husband’s mistress invade her home to come to ask for money.
Her son named Samora saw the other woman and, in rage, stomped out of the yard and back to his studio. Mpho wanted her child to be present at her party and followed him to talk some sense into him. Then Mpho told Samora about his paternity, a secret Mpho had kept for many years.

Samora follows his mother downstairs and beats her to death with a hammer in rage. However, that’s not the last people see of Zinzi Zungu as she keeps appearing in Samora’s hallucinations pushing him to confess. Samora even tries to commit suicide to try and get away from what he thinks is his mother’s ghost.
The actress who portrays Mpho is Zinzi Zungu, and she is beloved in the acting industry as she has been part of many productions. Even though she takes on the role of a mother with children in their late twenties, she is not old enough to have kids that age in real life. Zungu was born in 1983, which makes her only 39years of age. This means she would have had kids at 11 if they were in their late twenties.
However, the actress can take on the role of someone older than she is, thanks to her body structure and good acting skills. Zinzi has been in the spotlight since she made her debut as a presenter on Craze when she was only sixteen.
