South African actress Inno Manchidi is popularly known as Rendani in the Venda drama series Muvhango which she joined seven years ago. Her role as Rendani is that of a woman from the Mukwevho royal household who is a sister to the Chief and a working woman who worked in the city for her family’s company. Over the years, she has been unlucky in love, and the one time she found someone she loved, he became a drug addict and got her into financial trouble. Her husband, Hulisani, fought with his uncle Tenda, known to be ruthless, leading to his murder. This left Rendani, a grieving widow, forced to grieve a husband who hurt her instead of moving on. As if that was not enough, she fell for a man who wanted to avenge Hulisani’s death, and he stole from her as well.
Recently, Rendani quit her job in Johannesburg to help Susan, her sister-in-law, run a campaign for the Mayoral position.
