She has fast become the face of House Of Zwide with her unmatched talent as Faith Zwide. Bawinile Winnie Ntshaba is making all sorts of headlines as she stars alongside some of Mzansi’s finest on Vusi Kunene’s fashion drama series House Of Zwide aired on etv.
She is best remembered for her on-screen character Khethiwe Buthelezi on SABC’s most-watched drama series, Generations. With an illustrious career spanning years, the bubbly actress debuted small screen while pursuing her studies.
Mzansi has been wondering how old the bubbly actres be? It seems as if she is older than we thought. The bubbly actress was born on 1 September 1975 in Eshowe, Kwa-Zulu Natal Province, South Africa. To furnish her craze for acting, the 46-year-old actress enrolled at the University of Natal in Kwa-Zulu Natal. She holds a Degree in Acting.
In the early 2000’s she made herself known with her acting flair. However, her shot to fame came in the backdrop of a gig in a film Yesterday in 2004.

Of interest is the fact that she starred alongside the likes of Leleti Khumalo, best known for her on-screen character on etvs drama series Imbewu: The Seed as MaZulu and her lead role in Sarafina will go down to the grave with her.

The film went on to win big in annual awards hence its cast got some more recognition. In the backdrop of her Yesterday gig two years down the line, she was cast in Generations as Khethiwe Buthelezi. She was part of the star-studded cast of Generations, including the late Menzi Ngubane, Leleti Khumalo, Rami Chiume and Connie Ferguson.
However, in the wake of her newfound fame on the small screen, she was axed alongside other actors after a salary protest against the showrunners. The salary woes which marred Generations saw the drama series losing almost its entire lead cast.
After being axed on Generations, she had a two-year hiatus only to bounce back with a gig on Mzansi Magic’s drama series The Road in 2017. She was also cast in another Mzansi Magic’s telenovela, The Herd, as Mam’Ngandi. No doubt she has been winning big. Her isThembiso on-screen character of Mam’lihle paved her Faith Zwide gig on House Of Zwide.
