The latest scene of Gomora captured the hearts of many after she exposed her daughter’s affair with an older man Mr Dancan, the sponsor of spelling Bees. The actress top-notched her role, leaving fans praising her for carrying Gomora on her shoulders.
On Gomora, she portrays the role of Zodwa, an alcoholic single mother of two children, Teddy and Sibongile. She lost her husband traumatically, and she is still recovering from it. Although Zodwa struggles to make ends meet, she makes sure her kids don’t sleep on an empty stomach and have the best education. However, she recently found out that her beloved daughter Sibongile was dating an older man so she could secure the bag.

Zodwa was hurt, and she had to throw her daughter out of her house because she had broken her trust. After chasing her daughter out, her son Teddy judged her for being a lousy mother, and she felt horrible for her actions. She then followed her daughter to school so she could take her home; that’s when she witnessed the worst.
Zodwa found out that the man Sibongile has been dating is non-other than Mr Dancan, the man behind the spelling Bees. She was heartbroken, and she went on to hijack the spelling bees by exposing Sibongile’s relationship with Mr Dancan.
Gomora actress Zodwa did not end by hijacking the spelling bees; she threatened Mr Dancan that she would take the matters into her hands if he continued sleeping with Sibongile. In her own words said, and I quote:
