The Royal AM U21 team travelled to Cape Town to face Stellenbosch in a highly anticipated match in the DSTV Diski challenge. The Durban based side has a reputation of winning against big teams, having trashed Kaizer Chiefs early in the competition.
The tightly contested match ended in a win for the visitors. The match was played at the Idas Valley Stadium in Western Cape, with the hosts wearing their white and maroon jerseys and the visitors wearing red and gold jerseys.
The Stellies were dealt with an early blow as Royal AM broke the deadlock just a quarter of an hour after the starting whistle.
Devin Titus made it even four minutes from the break after a sustained period of pressure from the Maroons. The Premier Soccer League debutants headed to the break with a goal each.
It took ten minutes for the visitors to lead again
The highlight of the development sides match was the travelling Royal AM management. The group consisted of club President Dr Shauwn Mkhize, board member Dr Nozipho Ngubo, brand ambassador Tha Simelane, club chairman’s wife Tamia Mpisane, Shaun Stylist and an unnamed man.
The travelling party departed Durban for KZN a day before the game. MaMkhize shared images from her room and seemed to be enjoying her time in Cape Town.
The team took time to dance, celebrating their win away from home. Tamia has shown us she is a great dancer despite being pregnant.

Tamia, now visibly pregnant
Andile’s wife is visibly pregnant now. She can no longer hide her baby bump. The lovebirds married in a private ceremony in mid-December. The event surprised many as Andile seemed to be vibing to his baby mama Sithelo Shozi.
Rumours were rife that Andile rushed to marry Tamia as she was pregnant. The rumours have now turned out to be true.
