Her debut was a bang and multi-millionaire Shauwn Mkhize proved haters otherwise with her stellar performance. The cum actor rubbished all critiques that were being levelled against her that she bought her gig on Uzalo.
Shauwn Mkhize might be rich but her bag didn’t play a hand in securing her latest and first-ever gig on Uzalo. Of late Uzalo is making all sorts of headlines from bringing back old cast to new faces including the likes of Mkhize.
We can all agree that Uzalo did pull a shocker on this one since we all didn’t expect it. However, in the wake of backlashes, the controversial Tv personality and business mogul lashed out at those who are peddling false rumours.
Speaking to TshisaLive Shauwn Mkhize made the record straight in regards to her Uzalo gig. The new Uzalo ace asked a rhetorical question as a clap back to bad publicity over her Uzalo gig.
“How many people have money but are not in the spaces I am?”

“At the end of the day I am human and I put the effort into everything I do. It is not because there’s money. But, you know, people will always want to attach money to everything I do, like everything is based on money.”

Shauwn Mkhize plays the new fearless businesswoman who wants to run the show at KwaMashu Kingdom Church. However, she recently admitted that she didn’t go through auditions but was nailing her role despite that. She even claimed that the Uzalo production team were headhunting her.

However, Uzalo recently added a new face to the hit soapie and it seems they are not holding back. From bringing back old guards to bolster its cast to adding multi-millionaire Shauwn Mkhize. It seems as if Uzalo is not holding back. In the wake of these additions to the cast, Uzalo has also added Mbali Maphumulo.
Mbali Maphumulo is a South African actress who also happens to be the wife of actor Dumisani Mbebe. The seasoned actress also doubles as a singer and dancer.
It seems as if this is her rebirth to small screens after being off for years. Maphumulo is best known for her stellar performances as Amira Mokoena, a whimsical songwriter living in a fantasy world, in the e.tv drama series 4Play: Sex Tips for Girls, from 2010-2012.
