Shauwn Mkhize joins Uzalo, Mzansi is in shock
South Africa’s renowned businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize is joining Uzalo and we were never ready. As she has never been to any acting school, masses are wondering if she bought the role. Money buys many things but it certainly does not buy talent. If Uzalo is adding her to their cast then she definitely has what it takes and we are definitely here for it.
Taking to their Instagram, Uzalo producers announce Shauwn‘s debut on the show much to everyone’s surprise. “Ebantwini❕☄️☄️🥵Abajabule Abantuu 🥂🥂 Le Ready!??,” they post. Mkhize confirms the development by posting, “Family!!”
It seems however Uzalo fans are skeptical and many are questioning Shauwn‘s acting dexterities.

This is not the first time that Shauwn‘s decisions have been questioned. Recently the businesswoman has had to defend her wardrobe choices and all makes sense when she reveals how she gets her clothes straight from the runway. By the time these clothes reach our boutiques, Shauwn will already be looking for something new. Talk about a trendsetter.
“Most people couldn’t understand my style because I would have things that are still on the runway. By the time people are used to it, I am done and over it. I have developed a thick skin and I tell people that ‘what hasn’t made me, can never break me. Whatever they say doesn’t worry me,” she says.
“You can’t live for people, what I have decided to do, I have decided to live for myself and whatever that makes me happy I go for it, she adds. Not everyone has an opportunity to see international runways,” Mkhize adds.
