Musician Shakira is back in the studio working on new music and has confirmed that the new music will be released soon. The “Hips Don’t Lie” hit maker made her followers happy when she announced that she was working on new tracks as she shared a photo while in the studio.
The 43-year-old star has this year released a Lation song called “Me Gusta” with rapper Anuel AA from Puerto Rico. The duo sampled Jamaican reggae fusion team Inner Circle’s song called “Sweat” at the start of their song.
Subsequent to the production of a remix of Camilo and Pedro Capo’s “Tutu” late last year, Shakira teased her fans that new music was on the way.
“I am just taking every input that I receive and it is turning into inspirationYesterday I finished a song and I was so thrilled so we will see. I just want to put music out there.”
In the meantime, Shakira recently graduated with a degree in Ancient Philosophy from the University pf Pennsylvania. The “Waka Waka” hitmaker managed to complete the long distance four-week course alongside being a fulltime mum to kids Milan (7) and Sasha (5).

“I needed a break from me. The universe is so broad, I cannot be at the centre of it. So, I decided to go to the university and study history for a summer course, just to kind of switch gears, taste the student life.
