A shocking revelation by Zari Hassan’s son on Instagram catapults the mama bear to reclaim the spotlight on the social media streets. The businesswoman and socialite’s second son Raphael Junior takes to Instagram to come out of the closet and set the platform in frenzy.
Confessing how he finds men to be more attractive than women, Zari defends her son who she had with the late Ivan Ssemwanga. In the viral video. Raphael had this to say:
” I’m coming out. I took some time, was thinking every time and I think I like gents. You guys might judge me, you might think it’s not who I am. But in my heart, I see gents attractive and not females but that’s just what it is.”
Defending her son, Zari also known as Zari The Boss Lady asserts how the video is recorded with the intent to throw off older women who slides with nudes in Junior’s DMs.

This revelation however lays the speculations to rest as rumours have been making round about Raphael’s gay status since 2019. A Kenyan gay socialite, Robettah starts the rumours and claims how Zari’s son had allegedly disrespected him sexually. “Zari’s son is gay, end of the discussion,” says Robettah. “How much I feel disrespected,” he adds.
Despite these allegations, Zari sticks to her word.
“He has a girlfriend, he is tired of old women who keep texting and asking him for money, he is tired of it. Maybe it was a good thing to say he is gay. Now you all will chill and leave him alone,”
