Fana Mokoena has never made a beard appearance on television. He’s always kept a clean-shaven face. The actor posted on Twitter with the following caption: “planning for the upcoming role. Siyaqhuba. SA is firmly establishing itself abroad. Salute.” Fans of Fana used the microblogging app’s comment section to express their opinions about his beard and getting the international role.
The talented actor appears to be keeping the identity of the international set he will be working on under wraps. Although the Scandal actor is even growing out a beard, which has wholly shocked his fans as he is known for having no hair ever since he made his debut on the big South African screens, it appears that the role is quite severe.
Many people are eager to learn more about his role and body of work and can’t wait to hear and see it. Fans were astonished to see him sporting a beard. They were happy that he would be rubbing shoulders with Hollywood A-listers, though.

South African actor Fana Mokoena was born in the town of Kroonstad in the Free State province. He is a social activist, philanthropist, and avid reader. In addition, he served as a parliamentarian in the Republic of South Africa for eight years before resigning to focus on the arts. Many never believed that he would make it big, but he proved them wrong!
After completing his studies in drama at the University of Cape Town, Fana became a full-time member of the Playhouse Theatre Company. Shakespearean plays like Twelfth Night, American plays like All God’s Chillun Got Wings, and original plays by playwright and director Lara Foot featured him in supporting roles. Fana’s casting agency, MLA, was introduced to him by Lara Foot, and he has been working with them ever since. He seems to be going forward!
