Scandal’s Romeo Medupe ‘Hungani Ndlovu’ dies
Not so long ago Hungani Ndlovu made all sorts of headlines when his on-screen character of Romeo Medupe was reportedly axed. However, in the wake of his exit news, the drama series indicated that Romeo Medupe was just taking some time off. Well, in a few months the character has been axed. It seems as if he only came back to be axed just like Thandeka did.
However little is known about the reasons behind his exit yet. It appears Hungani Ndlovu’s Romeo will not be returning to the E.tv Scandal! At the end of last night’s episode, a doctor from a local hospital called Xolile, Romeo’s wife over the phone to inform her that Romeo Medupe has died the very same day.
Fans took to social media to express their disappointment at the news that their favourite character is no more. This comes after months of speculation on whether or not Hungani Ndlovu would be returning to Scandal!. Some views even went as far as saying that they’ll boycott the show if he doesn’t return.

Hungani Ndlovu’s exit from Scandal took Mzansi by surprise and many are still connecting the dots in regards to his exit. The celebrated Hungani Ndlovu who plays Romeo Medupe on etv’s hit soapie Scandal shocked everyone with his resignation. No doubt that Romeo was one of the most followed star actors on the hit soapie.
The celebrated actor’s exit has left Mzansi divided. Rumour has it that his exit comes in the backdrop of a fallout with the production team.
Ndlovu is yet to address the rumour. However, Ndlovu also felt that he was being targeted by some people in the production, and he just wanted to make things easy for them by resigning from the soapie.
Moreover, for late Ndlovu, felt unappreciated at Scandal despite being the star actor bringing in numbers. It’s not the first time for Scandal to be caught off guard by shocking resignations.
