It is without a doubt that the character of Mbali, played by Nolwazi Ngubeni on Scandal, was why the show had had an enormous following lately. Mbali played a ambitiously manipulative character and we can all agree that she did justice to her character. However on a sad note Mbali is bidding fare well to etv Scandal! leaving Mzansi heartbroken as many had grown fond of her character.
February 15 will mark the actress’s last casting call, a journey Nolwazi Ngubeni says being on Scandal! has been one of the “greatest joys”.
Reflecting on her journey on Scandal! Nolwazi said:

Mbali Kubeka ‘Nolwazi Ngubeni’ bows out of etv Scandal!
The actress thanked her fans and Mzansi for making her journey on Scandal! easy. She appreciated her fans for supporting the character of Mbali, and she hopes that Mzansi will keep supporting her on her next project. As she leaves Scandal!, the multitalented actor will continue her journey as a casting director in the new season of Mzansi Magic’s telenovela Umkhokha while also acting in another product that is yet to be announced.
In other news, the head writer and creative producer at Scandal!, Grace Mahlaba, pointed out that Mbali slayed her character on the show to perfection. She went on to say that Nolwazi is a talented actress with the abity to play every role she is given to excellency.
Nolwazi carried the weight of Mbali’s schemes with conviction and dedication and brought layers to the character that were an absolute delight to watch on screen. The Scandal! the team is sad to see the end of Mbali Kubeka and we appreciate the time she spent with us.”
