Back with a bang, former Scandal actress Lusanda Mbane finally joins Imbewu: The Seed as Makhosazana. Best known for her Boniswa Langa character on etvs drama series Scandal, she bowed out of the soapie a few months ago, and it seems she has switched the floor to Imbewu: The Seed.
A few weeks ago, she was spotted on the drama series set, but little was known if she was joining the show permanently or starring as a guest actor. Well, in the mix of things, it seems the drama series have bolstered their cast with Mbane. The long wait is over as she is et to make her debut today.
On-screen little is known about her character, but it seems she will be signing from the same hymnal of Scandal. She has been dupped as one of Mzansi’s most celebrated villain actresses to have graced our small screens. She will be starring as Makhosazana, a very cunning and ambitious power-hungry lady who always gets what she wants.

According to November teasers, she comes as a dominatrix, posing as candy, beds Stefan, making Menzi bitter and jealous. Will she be privy to the downfall of Menzi, given the fact that he is set to star on Generations? Who knows, maybe Menzi can handle Nirupa and others just like before.
In the mix of things, she helps Nkululeko to save the Marino deal. Things get heated up in the wake of their celebrations, and chemistry crackles between them. Nkululeko boldly tells her he’s not interested in a workplace romance. She is drama, and it’s getting interesting. Will she be the fall of The Bhengu’s?
Her exit from Scandal marked the mass exodus of a star-studded cast, and several actors bowed out soon after her exit. The showrunners revealed that the mass exodus was in line with the new storyline. Lusana Mbane will be joining the likes of Leleti Khumalo, who stars as MaZulu.
