Scandal actor Ndumiso ‘Andile Sithole’ real-life occupation shocks Mzansi
Just like those before him, Andile Sithole was thrust into the limelight when he was still young. He’s unmatched is definitely out of this world. Sithole is best-known for his Ndumiso on-screen character on etvs drama series Scandal.
No doubt the road to fame wasn’t all rosy as he had to fight several wars to have a foot in the booming industry. After moving from the countryside at the age of 14-years, he discovered his craze for acting.
He ventured into theatre, and his ambitions saw him writing some plays. Whilst at school, he formed an art group by the name Youth Dreams Team. From performing at school, they saw themselves sharing the stage with some of South Africa’s finest.
Things went south, and he got kicked out of school because of not paying fees. Honestly, fortune favours the bold the actor took social media to look for assistance, and he got a sponsor. After enrolling, he bags a Degree in Education at UNISA. Of interest is the fact that he has no acting educational background.
However, in the mix of things, he bags a gig on Scandal as Ndumiso. Since then, he has been winning big he has also featured in several ads.
Apart from acting, Andile Sithole also doubles as a musician. A few months ago, he made headlines when he had a musical tour with DJ Navas.

He once revealed that he was always interested in music but his contract with Scandal didn’t permit him to venture into music full time.
“I have always loved music. I like playing around in the studio, making tracks, but I couldn’t take it seriously because I was full-time at Scandal!”
No doubt he has managed to cap his illustrious career with accolades. In 2015 and 2020 he won big when he bagged the precious Golden Horn Awards. The 29-year-old was born in KwaZulu Natal.
In the mix of things, Mzansi seems to be shocked by Ndumiso’s real-life occupation. Sithole is a director and CEO at Jobert Production. The company focuses mainly on production and is behind the production of several theatre productions. He joins a host of seasoned actors the likes of Connie Ferguson, Vusi Kunene who have production companies under their watch.
