Mbali confronted her mother and uncle about Winile’s recent behaviour. She is furious that Winile thinks she can have a romantic relationship with Jojo and take away baby Nkazimulo from her after working so hard to keep her marriage. When she confronts them, she makes a shocking discovery. Mbali finds out her mother knew about Winile’s crush on Jojo but didn’t say anything about it to warn her. In the previous episode, Winile told Mbali she would leave when Jojo told her to go. Upon that discovery, she will realize that Winile is a bigger problem than she thought. If her love for Jojo had started long ago, it would be harder to get rid of her.
Layla will receive a chilling call from her friend Me’shell. Layla helped the police gather evidence to prove Cee-jay was innocent, but she had to incriminate her long-time friend. She will be shaken when she hears her voice over the phone from a mysterious number. Another scary part of the phone call is that Me’shell will call Layla a traitor.

In the previous episode, Ndumiso expressed his disappointment in the security company he appointed, Too Safe and Too Clean. Later on, he realized it wasn’t their fault but the people who chose to attack the workers at his project site. When he got advice to hire a new security company, he declined.
