She has been dupped as the next Brenda Fassie, and her energetic performances have made her one of Africa’s finest. Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona is a multi-award winning South African musician best known as Makhadzi.
No doubt, of late, he has been making all sorts of headlines, from filling up her shows to awards nominations. Not so long ago, she saw herself trending after a Zimbabwean Finance Secretary Guvamatanga, gave her a whopping R1.5 million rands after performing for him on his birthday.
The 25-year-old was born on 30 June 1996 in the Limpopo Province. She was born and bred there up until her thrust into the limelight. Recently, she wowed Mzansi after being nominated three times at this year’s AFRIMA awards in the backdrop of the SAFTA snub.
However, of late, Makhadzi’s educational background has been a point of interest to many. Well, we have managed to connect the dots. She matriculated at Mukula Integrated School. After her matric, she furthered her studies with a Public Relations degree. Also, her craze for acting saw her being admitted for drama studies.
Well enough of that. The celebrated singer has rags to riches story to tell to just like those before him. She made herself known by Mzansi through her street performances with Makirikiri. Despite the group majoring in dancing, the African Queen then expanded the groups’ trade with singing.

Blessed are those who see beautiful things in humble places where others see nothing. In 2012 whilst recording one of her songs, the studio owner decided to work with Makhazi. Despite changing managers and producers of late, Mkhadzi has managed to remain relevant since 2012.
Her first studio is rumoured to be Muvhangowhich was released in 2012. A year later, he dropped a hit on Tshiyani. She then stunned Mzansi with Litshani U Tsala Murahu in 2014 and Muhwalo Uya Ndemela in 2015. However, she dropped Yo Shoma and Shumela Venda in 2016 and 17, respectively. Marahu thrust her into the stardom.
Since then, she has been winning big from gigs across the world and royalties. Yes, we can all agree that Mkhadzi has fast become one of the most sort after musicians. Her bookings have skyrocketed in the wake of her newfound fame, and she doesn’t charge less for gigs.
Rumour has it that the star-performer doesn’t charge anything less than R50 000 for bookings. It has been revealed that she makes around R850 000 per month of late. She is making money moves, and her glitz and glamour lifestyle can attest to that. She recently showered her mother with a million-dollar house as a token of appreciation before she stunned Mzansi with her million-dollar mansion in Limpopo.
To cap her celebrity lifestyle, she has capped her celebrity status with exotic cars and designer clothes just like those before her. In the wake of her A-list celebrity status, she has been dupped as the Queen of Limpopo as she has managed to plough back to the community through donations and community assistance projects.
