His illustrious career spans decades, and he has fast become one of Mzansi’s finest. Mpho J Molepo is a South African actor famous in Generations The Legacy as Uncle Kabisi Moroka. He is often confused for his namesake, well known as “Fats”.
His on-screen character in Generations is officially off the market, and viewers couldn’t be more intrigued. Uncle Kabisi Moroka is one character who drips with flair every time he graces the small screen.
The 47-year-old was born on 28 November 1973. He doubles as an actor and director. The seasoned actor graduated with Honors in Drama for Life (Wits University School of Arts.

In recent years he has been rumoured to be related to Rhythm City’s actor fats, who happens to be Mpho Molepo. However, in the backdrop on these rumours, Fats once cleared the air in an interview.
Speaking during an interview session with journalist Wendy Mothata on his relationship with Kabisi Moroka from Generations, Fats revealed that “All Molepos are related,” he first met Kabisi in 1994 in the industry. He also said that his father, Arthur Molepo, knew about Mpho J Molepo way before 1994.

Fats and Kabisi may be cousins in real life; Kabisi is six years older than Fats despite being the most popular of the two. Fats uploaded a picture with Kabisi on his Instagram account captioned.

However, on Generations, he is killing it. His current nailing it and his affair with Tshidi seems to be going south. At first, they all looked loved up, but things are currently not good the moment. Tshidi had to pull off some of her magic tricks to acquire a kidney illegally so that he could gift it to Kabisi, who had kidney failure.
However, the girl they took the kidney from later died, and her spirits are now tormenting Kabisi. Unaware of the situation at hand, Kabisi visits a Sangoma for answers, but he is told otherwise since Tshidi bribed the Sangoma not to reveal her ordeal.
In the mix of things, he is trending after his Generations salary was leaked. The seasoned actor is paid a whopping R65000 per month for his Kabisi Moroka role. Well, one should note that salaries of actors vary with time on scenes, experience and role prominence.
