Bawinile Winnie Ntshaba is a South African actress best known for her on-screen character Khethiwe Buthelezi on Generations. Currently, she is nailing it as Faith Zwide on House Of Zwide; a fashion drama series aired on etv.
The celebrated actress was born on 1 September 1975 in Eshowe in the Kwa-Zulu Natal province of South Africa. She is a graduate of the University of Natal in Kwa-Zulu Natal. She holds a degree in acting, and she once made it known that her older sister encouraged her to pursue the degree and years later, she’s cashing hefty amounts from it.
Whilst doing her third year, the star actress found love in Thabo Modise, a photographer. The two later got married in 2007 but later called it quit in 2014.
Just like those before her thrust into the limelight when she was young. She started starring in acting gigs in early 2000, but her big break came in 2004. A year later, she starred alongside Leleti Khumalo in Yesterday, a film that went to bag awards.
In 2006 she bagged a gig on Generations, and she played the mighty Khethiwe Buthelezi. However, she was axed after salary woes and protests that marred Generations. She was part of the star-studded cast that was shown the exit door after protesting for better salaries.

A year later, she played a lead role on the Mzansi Magic’s drama series The Herd, and she played as Mam’Ngandi. No doubt she has been winning big of late.
Whilst starring on The Herd, she bagged a gig on isThembiso and played the character of Mam’lihle. Currently, she is nailing it as Faith Zwide on House Of Zwide. She plays the ruthless wife of Funani Zwide, played by Vusi Kunene.
Apart from acting, she also doubles as a voice-over artist, influencer, founder of The Royalty Soapie awards, and motivational speaker. Of late she has been making all sorts of daring headlines in relation to her on-screen character. However, this has made Mzansi weigh into the matter. The actress is rumoured to be paid a whopping R70 000 per month. One should know that salaries are determined by role prominence, time on screens and role prominence.
