SA ambassador to Spain’s daughter admits to defrauding NSFAS.
Tweeps have been left with sand in their mouths after a daughter to South Africa’s ambassador to Spain bragged on Twitter at 2 am, trying to prove that she is rich, comfortable and defrauded National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
Twitter user Linti deleted her Tweets after it was revealed that she is the daughter of SA ambassador to Spain and has travelled to different countries since she was 12 years old.
“My mother is an Ambassador to Spain, i lived in Italy and went to Marymount International school in Rome, i have lived with chefs and had drivers, should i go on since you all want to weird?”
Another Tweep Inga, who knows Linti personally, quickly let the cat out of the bag.
Inga revealed Ambassador to Spain is aunt to Linti, who she adopted after the passing of Linti’s mother in 2008.
Also tell them that the “ambassador” is your aunt, not your mother and you only went to live with her after your mom passed away (RIP). You were in Italy for less than a year bakibuyisa wafunda eNanda Seminary. Then you got NSFAS and went to study in bloem.
Inga’s account went on to expose that Linti used NSFAS’ funds to study in Bloemfontein, an allegation she admitted by citing that she used NSFAS funds because she can, leading to a public outcry.
Linti defrauds NSFAS “because she can”
NSFAS funds are meant to provide for the most vulnerable and the poor members of society by opening up gateways out of poverty. South Africans are questioning how the daughter of an ambassador qualified for NSFAS.
Explaining your family history at 2am because you wanted us to believe you’re rich. Then adding ukuthi you take NSFAS opportunities from kids who are actually poor because you *checks notes* can
this is inequality, like how do they even allow her to get funded whereas kids who truly need it get rejected or delayed left, right and centre
Some people are so lucky. Getting NSFAS just for vibes. Do you know how hard it is to get NSFAS. Jumping from affidavit to affidavit trying to prove how poor you are just so you could be funded.
