There has been an attempted armed robbery of a jewelry shop at Centurion Shopping Mall in Centurion.
Police confirmed about the incident but says investigations are ongoing.
Police spokesperson Dave Miller said: “There was a shooting incident at Centurion Mall. Police, emergency services and security services are on the scene. It’s an active crime scene at this stage.”
Witnesses suggest the robbers were targeting a jewelry shop at the mall but were confronted by guards resulting in an exchange of fire.
