No doubt Mzansi is mourning after the untimely deaths of Mzansi’s fast-rising stars. Amapiano sensations Killer Kau, Mpura and Khanya Hadebe were confirmed dead yesterday after a horrific accident that claimed five.
The crew died whilst on their way to a gig. Killer Kau’s rise to fame came about as a result of the video he posted of his song on Twitter which went viral. DJ Euphonik picked it up, tracked him down and collaborated with him for the hit single, Thol’ukuthi Hey.
Mpura was most famous as the voice behind amapiano hit, Umsebenzi Wethu. Khanya ‘The Voice’ Hadebe was a rising star in the music industry and was already making a considerable impact at a young age, which is the case for all three of these talents.
In the wake of their untimely deaths, the fast risings stars have seen themselves trending. Despite keeping a low key lifestyle many questions have been asked about Mpura and his rise to fame.
Well, Mpura was recently riding his wave of success after making a thrust into the entertainment industry. The South African-born will forever be remembered for his Amapiano vibe.
However here are some real-life facts about Mpura.
The fast-rising star was and raised in Alexandra. He attended Highlands North Boy’s High. It is in High School where he met and befriended Mr JazziQ. A few years later Mr JazziQ happens to be one of Mpura’s best friends.
He has worked with some of the Amapiano stars including Mr JazziQ, DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, Busta 929, Lady Du, DBN Gogo, and more. He released and featured in some of the biggest Amapiano tracks of 2021, and 2020.

However, it was recently reported that Pictures of Killer Kau and Mpura accident scene flood social media. With the death toll now at five confirmed deaths Mzansi can not come to terms with the untimely death of Killer Kau and Mpura.
However, the two celebrated star musicians Mpura and Killer Kau passed away in a tragic road accident. It has been established that the two died on their way to a gig in Rustenburg.
The vehicle they were travelling in is believed to have had a head-on collision with another car. The driver of the other car is believed to have succumbed to his injuries. One female is also fighting for his life in hospital from injuries sustained at the accident scene.
However, pictures from the accident scene have been circulating on social media despite some of the pictures being old and some fake from other accident scenes.
