Riky Rick’s inspiration for music is attributed to Bongani Fassie at a recording studio session. This triggered him to release his first single” Barbershop” which features Da L.E.S. His career then skyrocketed when he released another single “Nafukwa” which became a hit. “Amantombazane was released next then its remix which featured South African artists namely OkMalumkoolKat, Maggz, Kwesta, Ginger Bread Man, Kid X, Nadia Nakai and DJ Dimplez.
