South African actor Sello Maake kaNcube has been making headlines because of his professional and private life as well. The actor recently found love again in the arms of a woman who is 22 years younger than him making him trend on social media. Many people assumed that the new wife, Pearl was in it for the money, given their age difference and his status in the acting industry. However, that is not the case as she is loaded and a wealthy businesswoman in her own rights.
About Sello Maake kaNcube’s first failed marriage
After Sello’s first marriage to Palesa Mboweni failed only eight months, they went into a legal battle five years later. When he announced his new relationship, his ex-wife wanted to sue him for a lot of money. He publicly addressed that matter and called his ex a con artist who was with him for his estate.
How the two met
After Sello’s career took a significant bump and he was out of work, he started scouting for a new management company. Pearl wanted to work with his brand given that her business is in brand management, and they connected instantly. The two had their first date at Letoya Makhene and Lebo’s engagement party and married late in 2021. Pearl has two children from her first marriage, and they all live together.
Pearl Maake kaNcube’s education qualifications
Mbewe is a business person with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from IMM Graduate school. Like the true learner she is, she then got her MBA from Stanford University. Pearl also went to Wits business school and got a MAP certificate. The University of South Africa also honoured her with a practical project management certificate, but still, that was not enough for her.

As said before, Pearl is a brand manager and works for her husband, Sello Maake ka Ncube. She also works for gospel musician Dr Winnie Mashaba, and those are two of her famous clients so far. Pearl is also the founder and managing director of Wisdom Entertainment Holdings, owned by black women. She is also the CEO of Wisdom Mobile Marketing Services, a BBBEE contributing business.
