RHOD Fans Demand Mabusi’s Return. Viewers of the Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) have already grown tired of the franchise’s latest addition, Sane Bhengu. Since her debut in the current reality show season, the contentious chef has been causing issues. While she has been adding drama and excitement, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats, not everyone is fond of her.
Her outspoken nature has caused problems with several housewives, and she received criticism from viewers for attacking Londiwe ‘Londie London’ Zulu over her failed marriage to Hlubi Nkosi. Twitter is awash with negative tweets regarding her conduct, with numerous viewers branding her as problematic and advocating for the return of their former favourite, Mabusi Seme.
Despite the criticism, Sane remains undeterred. In a recent interview with News 24, she stated that she intends to feature in every episode of the season.
“I initially thought I would only be shooting for about four episodes, but it turned out to be 11, with numerous scenes. The only time I won’t be onscreen is in episode 5 due to a private issue. I was feeling angry and emotionally drained due to certain events.
Expect to see the real me. I forgive easily and move on quickly. I love wholeheartedly and show my emotions. I take responsibility when needed, but I can also be silly. I go all in and don’t take things too seriously! The upcoming episodes will be a rollercoaster ride,” she told the publication.
RHOD fans demand Mabusi’s return
In January, Mabusi announced, to the disappointment of many viewers, that the show’s producers had confirmed that she would not be making any appearances on the show this year.
“As the successful third season of Real Housewives of Durban gets underway, I regret to inform you all that I will not be joining the phenomenal cast for this season. Let It Rain Films has notified me that “there does not appear to be any filming with you in S3.”
Some stated that the production company thanked her for the excitement and drama she brought during the first and second seasons of the show.
“We thoroughly enjoyed having Mabusi on Real Housewives and appreciated all the drama she brought to the show. Our talented production company is taking us in a new direction with a range of new faces and drama.” – Lerato Moruti, Senior Manager of Reality & Entertainment Local.”
Lastly, she wished the new ladies luck as they began the new season.
“I wish the ladies (old and new) a splendid season 3; I cannot wait to view it from the other side along with my supportive, loyal followers that I gained in seasons 1 and 2,” she continued. It’s truly going to be such fun!”
“It was truly a lovely journey to travel; being given this platform to create good television to inspire young aspiring females was truly a blessing I hold dear to my heart,” she continued.
