Who knew Bra Sikes was the man behind the famous laughter on Gomora
If you’re a Mzansi Magic Gomora fan, you would like to know more about the man behind the Gomora’s famous laughter. Gomora has managed to wow Mzansi for seasons, and its renowned laughter has become one of its on-screen signatures. Yes, the laughter was done by one of its cast members, and that happens to Bra Sikes from Skeem.
Before his exit on Gomora, Fortune Thobejane saw his voice-over talent making him the drama series signature with his famous laugh.
However, he is not only an actor and a voice-over artist but a rapper-singer too. Apart from his Bra Sikes character, he is also best-known for his Isthembiso role and Jomo on Gomora.
Despite favouring being called Mr Dangerous, there is nothing dangerous about him. However, he is gentle and humble with a great sense of humour.
He played the might Jomo on Gomora, but sadly his role was short-lived. His character was killed off the show in the first few episodes. However, he left a legacy of his famous laugher, and the viewers will never forget him.
On Skeem Saam, the Ga-Maake born actor plays the character of Bra Sikes, who happens to be Noah’s father. He is famously known as a crime kingpin of Limpopo.
Bra Sikes the man behind the famous Gomora laughter set to shake things up on Skeem Saam
Undoubtedly, Skeem Saam is cooking up a storm with the notorious Bra Sikes set to make a comeback. With Bra Sikes in the picture, could he turn Noah into a celebrated thug?
Poor Noah was left in his grandmother’s hands, and Noah was exposed to a life of crime as his gangster. Her grandmother ran the local underworld with an iron fist and a taste for blood. He was given a second chance at life when he moved back to Turfloop.
Things were looking promising for the youngster with dreams until that fateful night of the Maphosa factory fire that finally landed him up in prison late last year.
Having tried to live the simple life over the years, could Noah’s time in prison, and occasional visits from Bra Sikes, lead him straight into the belly of the criminal underworld?
For now, it’s too early to say, but somehow we don’t think Bra Sikes would be happy to leave his son. No doubt he won’t leave his son in the grubby hands of the Maputla clan.
Fortune admits that, for now, the father-son prison visits haven’t had much impact on their relatively new relationship, “But Bra Sikes will make sure that he makes time to see Noah as much as he can.”
