Reeve Frosler Biography
Reeve started his education at Triomf Primary School in Salsoneville. He then transferred to Victoria Park High School, where he studied for his matric. However, his matric exam was scheduled for the same day as his match in Chile for the U-17 world cup. As a result, he ended up writing in May of 2016.
Reeve joined Fairview Rovers Football Club in Port Elizabeth, fresh from high school. He then kicks started his career as a winger in the Bidvest Wits academy. Reeve then got a promotion to the senior side of the team in 2017. This was when Coach Gavin Hunt converted him to a full-back position, and he made 11 appearances during this time. He was instrumental, during his debut season, to the team’s first-ever PSL title. Before the 2018-2019 Premier Division, Reeve refused to sign a new contract under Wits. He was also supposed to go for trials with a Portuguese Primeira Liga club, Vitoria Guimaraes SC, but he did not make it. As a result, the club froze him out.
This led to Reeve spending the bulk of the season on the bench. During this time, club rivals Kaizer Chiefs had already caught wind of his soccer talents, and they took advantage of the precarious position that Reeve was in and signed a pre-contract with him. Reeve was meant to join the Chiefs in June, but Chiefs and Wits had not yet reached a consensus. As such, he ended up cutting it close by joining the club on the transfer deadline of January 2019. His contract is set to expire in June 2022.
As of 2020, he is estimated to be worth R2 million. Most of his net worth is derived from his salary from the Chiefs. At the height of his career, his net worth was approximated to be worth R2,5 million.
