Lamb Curry
This recipe it is flavorful and tender lamb stew. It is simple and delicious.

Ingredients
- 1/2 litre water or stock
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 10 g curry powder
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 onions
- 10 g grated root ginger
- 2 large tomatoes
- 2 cups peeled and chopped apples
- 25 g chopped chutney
- 1 kg stewing lamb
Instructions
- Trim the meat and cut into even pieces.
- Put oil in a saucepan on medium heat. Add garlic, onion, chutney, ginger and the apples and cook, stirring for 5 minutes.
- Add in the lamb and curry powder cook for 8 minutes.
- Add in the stock and tomato puree, cover with a lid and allow to simmer on medium -low heat for 45 minutes until cooked.
- Serve!
Notes
Serve over rice with chutney or yogurt for drizzling over top.
