Buntu Petse is a 23-year old actress better known as Nontle Majola, Ayanda’s daughter, on the long-standing Generations: The Legacy.
Born and bred in Johannesburg, the young star studied and finished her Honours Degree in Dramatic Arts at Witwatersrand University in 2019. Nontle first appeared on the SABC hit soapie as a visitor from Cape Town, visiting her mother Ayanda Majola for holidays in December 2019.

Buntu Petse was given the role after a series of auditions where she was competing with other talents. According to her, it was difficult for the production crew to choose from all of them, but she became the chosen one. She regarded herself as ‘blessed’ for being chosen to portray the role of Nontle on Generations-The Legacy.
Since acting was a new environment for her, she indicated that she remembers herself making mistakes when she got on stage for the first time. During her first play on stage, the 23–year-old actress almost called it quits after an embarrassing start but was later convienced by her supportive mother to keep going.
Buntu has appeared on a number of shows such as TEENAGERS ON A MISSION(TOMZ) which is aired on SABC 1. The beautiful, ever-smiling and confident Buntu has made the fans of Generations: The legacy fall in love with her character which attracts teenagers.
