Real Housewives of Durban is a reality show on Showmax. On the show, rich wives of successful men showcase their lavish lifestyles. Glitz, glamour, and drama leave the viewers entertained, but a lot happens that puts fans off. Here are some of the things the viewers aren’t impressed with.
Thobile ‘MaKhumalo’ Mseleku
We were excited when she was announced as one of the cast members. When the show started, she seemed to be a humble woman minding her business. Fans later noticed that she didn’t bring vibrance to the reality show. Thobile left RHOD fans even more disappointed when she showed her house. Many viewers felt her home is not up to standard with the show.
Londie London’s mother and her English
RHOD cast members met up with some of their mothers to catch up. Londie London spoke broken English; her intention was pure, as she was trying to accommodate the ladies who don’t understand African languages. Viewers, however, thought she should’ve spoken her home language, and Londie could’ve done a translation.
LaConco throwing shade at Thobile
Thobile invited the ladies to a black-tie event to catch up; none of them knew who they were going to. Upon arriving at the event, LaConco was happy and taking videos looking cheerful. When she talked about the event, she said; she expected someone special, but it was just Thobile. LaConco was disappointed she was the host. In real life, former president Jacob Zuma’s ex-wife is friends with MaYeni, one of Musa Mseleku’s wives.
Musa Mseleku’s appearance on the reality show
Housewive and husbands met up, and the Mseleku couple of the show arrived at the event with a Toyota. Other ladies came in Ferrari’s, Lamborghinis and many more.
Other than their modest lifestyle, Musa Mseleku addressed the nature of polygamy. What put most people off about that was Musa asking Nonku, “Are you tempted?” Nonku’s husband was present when Musa asked her that question, and judging by her facial expression, and she was not impressed at all.
