Before he got to play much for the Sundowns, Rama was loaned out to the University of Pretoria Football Club. He was on loan from 2012 – 2013. When his loan ended, he went back to Sundowns, where he led the team to many victories. Rama led Sundowns to the Championship for the 2015 – 16 season, where he became one of the most important fixtures for one of the league’s top defences. He played for the Sundowns until 2015 where the Chiefs scouted him.

He signed his contract with the Chiefs in 2016. Besides his club career, he has also represented South Africa at Under-20, Under-23 and recently senior level. He’s established himself as a familiar figure under the head coach Shakes Mashaba.
