Of late the entertainment industry has seen several showrunners tagging along entertainment personalities to bolster their casts. Back then Rhythm City was well known for promoting the entertainment industry through offering fast-rising musicians gigs on the etvs hit soapie.
Recently Uzalo pulled a shocker when it introduced multi-millionaire Shauwn Mkhize to their cast. Despite having a backlash the seasoned personality debut was a bang and Mzansi was more than impressed.
In the wake of her heroics, Qwabe twins seem to be making all sorts of headlines after they bagged their first-ever acting gig. Qwabe Twins, Viggy and Virginia are super excited and over the moon about their acting gig. The Former Idols SA contestants have been cast to act on Pastor Mjosty’s new sitcom 731 Nina Street.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Mjosty said the Qwabe Twins have started shooting.
“It’s exciting to work with the twins. They’re bubbly, which makes everything easy. One cannot tell that it is their first acting gig. They act alongside other twins from Empangeni, KZN.”
One of the twins, Viggy, said:
“We are happy or such an opportunity. This is our first acting gig and it’s exciting. We believe the gig is the start of many great things, and we’re looking forward to others.”

Recently the Qwabe twins added fuel to their dating rumours but they have since rubbished the claims. They haven’t been in the music industry for long and they are already working their way to the top. The twins, who controversially exited the singing competition and went on to make a hit song Hamba, with DJ Tira.
However, the twins seem to have kept their love lives under wraps but it seems as if the two are a couple. Of late their love lives have been put into question and rumours have made all sorts of rounds on social media.
The two have even fueled the rumours from passionate kisses to cosy steamy pictures. No doubt its something that Mzansi is still yet to find out. The two have rekindled the rumour again after they shared a series all loved up on valentines day. The viral pictures of Qwabe twins added fire to the dating rumours after valentines day today making love perhaps.
However, the twins celebrated the day of love together. They are seen wearing swimsuits. They captioned their picture “to be yourself is a choice. Happy valentine’s day”. However, the fans were not convinced by their caption. One of them asked where their boyfriends were. They replied with laughing emojis.
This is not the first their relation has been put into question. They have rundown the rumours before but Mzansi is not convinced with that alone.
