South African actress Mbalenhle Mavimbela became a household name when she got her role in The Wife as Mahlomu. She earned the nickname national wife because of that role and how she portrayed it. Her role as a journalist who falls in love with a taxi driver has been the highlight of her career, and fans love her because of it.

After an addictive first season, The Wife’s second season was not what many fans expected, and they had to take a break from production for the third season. During this time, fans of the show were then told that Mbalenhle Mavimbela would not be returning to the show for its third season. The post is captioned ‘Nestling Down’, and many commented on her beauty and glow.
