Man of the moment Pitso Mosimane told Al Ahly TV that he turned down a hefty salary from The South African National Team. He also adds that he can win the CAF Champions League five more times.

The former Sundowns Head coach seems to be enjoying his tenure at Al Ahly and mentions during the interview that Al Ahly is a very big club However, other Bafana bafana fans think he failed when he had his opportunity to coach the South African National team. On the other hand others are happy that he is really putting the South African flag up there.

It is unfortunate that when Pitso visited South Africa during the semi final clash against his former club he did not get the best reception from Sundowns fans. Instead they assaulted their former Head Coach.
After a few days Sundown sued Pitso and his wife. The club demands that Mosimane and his wife pay back an agent commission of R8 million, which is linked to a staggering R1.5 million salary per month he was receiving from the team.
According to the court papers, Sundowns lawyers Bowman Gilfillan said that on May 20 2020 Tlhagale and the club signed a head coach agreement in which Sundowns employed Mosimane on a 48-month fixed-term contract starting from June 1, 2020, and expected to run until May 31 2024.
The lawyers said that Sundowns paid Tlhagale’s company R8 632 260, which was a 10% agent commission for getting Mosimane’s signature to Sundowns. The club paid the commission upfront instead of dividing and paying it out for every season that Mosimane completed as Sundowns coach.
