Asavela Mngqithi is a South African actress known for her role as Ntwenhle, a young independent girl in the sixth season of a South African TV drama soapie ‘Isibaya. Isibaya was her first major acting role in TV production, she was born in 1996 in Umzimkhulu, KwaZulu-Natal.
Her father, Manqoba Mngqithi, is a great South African football coach. She attended the AFDA College in Durban specialising in Camera and Editing, but she had to drop out of college in her third year because of personal reasons.
