Real Housewives of Durban star LaConco launches clothing line
Real Housewives of Durban star Nonkanyiso Conco, also known as LaConco, has signed a deal with Edgars. Her t-shirt line LaConco apparel has a total of 7 t-shirts, and they’ll retail at R285 each, with the retail giant. Sandton City’s Edgars will be the first branch to sell the t-shirts on the 1st of March 2022.
T-shirt inspiration
LaConco is a proud Zulu girl. As a woman who grew up in KwaZulu Natal Province, her tongue adapted to the slang of her homeland. You can pick it up from her accent and the things she says. You’ll hear her referring to a friend as ‘one’, which is slang for the word friend in the province. There are tons of slang words in KZN, and six of the slang words, are written on her t-shirts.

One of the t-shirts has the name LaConco, and that’s it. With all the t-shirts, this one was personally branded for her.

Suka demedi means, move away, man! People say it when there’s something fantastic happening as praise. Gugul me is just the same as saying ‘ Google me ‘. A KZN accent will make the words sound like that.
Weh Shwele and Mnge
Weh! It is an exclamation word like wow. Shwele means sorry. Weh shwele, however, is a sarcastic apology. Mnge is a slang word for friend.

Previous relationship
She rose to fame as former president Jacob Zuma’s youngest wife. Unfortunately, the couple split up not too long after the birth of her son. She said she left her marriage as many people interfered in it. Currently, she’s not married but, she’s still a cast member of The Real Housewives of Durban reality show.
