Pictures: Presidents league DJ Tira hangs out with Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa
No doubt DJ Tira has been topping trends of late after his viral pictures with Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa flooded social media.
In the viral pictures, the Afrotaiment boss was next to the Zanu PF President and Zimbabwe head of state. Undoubtedly, he has been enjoying his newfound fame across Limpopo. A few months ago, he headlined a show in Gwanda where he lost his passport. The celebrated DJ even offered $1000 to anyone who might have found or have any knowhow about his lost passport.
In the wake of this incident, he saw his name changed to Dirarizare Marufu after being stranded in Zimbabwe. The bubbly, multi-award-winning musician endorsed his name on social media. After all, he seems to be enjoying his newfound fame in Zimbabwe.
Little is known if DJ Tira is in Zimbabwe or not. But his caption tells it all. He has been chilling with the big boys and is not shy about it. In the viral pictures, he was dressed in all black, flanking the president, who was also wearing black and complimented his suit with a Zimbabwean-inspired scarf.
DJ Tira captioned his now deleted post:

The negative comments have back forced DJ Tira to delete the post. However, Mzansi has since weighed in on the now deleted post. Mzansi was fuming and calling out at DJ Tira for endorsing the Zimbabwean President. However, on the other hand, some heaped praises on DJ Tira for spreading his wings beyond Mzansi and hooping him for the best to come.
However, back home, DJ Tira has worked tremendously with Zimbabwean artists of late. He recently released a smash hit with Nox titled Stay with Me. We can all agree that DJ Tira has been winning big of late since his thrust into the limelight. His thrust into stardom came in the backdrop of his University days.
However, years later, he became one of Mzansi’s finest. He has been credited for making big stars s such as Babes Wodumo and Big Nuz. In 2017, he was credited as being the brains behind the Gqom genre. In the wake of his newfound fame, he has since switched the floor to be a jack of all trades.
